Reliability is the ability to provide a correct and accurate service in accordance with the Company’s promises from the first time and every time thereafter. It reflects the degree of trust in us; in other words, the client expects to receive a timely service meeting our performance commitment. Tangibles represent the general appearance of the Company’s premises, equipment and furnishings, the employees’ presentation and the quality of our communication tools. Thus, technology affects service quality from a client viewpoint and should be appropriate to their needs. Clients’ evaluation of service quality will be affected by whatever technology and other tangibles are provided by the Company, including the convenience of its location or of its branches, their geographic spread and their interior and exterior design.


Responsiveness refers to taking the initiative to help clients, answering their enquiries, responding to their complaints and working on solving these rapidly and effectively. The key here is that clients will evaluate our interactions with them positively if they are well received, if employees show conviction and if they deliver a distinctive and individualized service.


Competency concerns how well qualified front-line employees are to deliver excellent service, in terms of skills, analytic and deductive abilities and knowledge. Most clients prefer to be served by persons of high educational standards with appropriate formal qualifications.
